Hunt For Two Teens After Kittens Found Tortured And Dismembered

Police are searching for two teenagers after a disturbing case of animal cruelty in west London that left two kittens dead.

The Metropolitan Police say the animals were tortured and dismembered in Ickenham Road, Ruislip, on May 3. Officers described the incident as “incredibly distressing” and have now launched a public appeal to trace the suspects.

CCTV released by the Met shows two teenagers walking calmly along a residential street before later running back the way they came. Police believe the pair were involved in the attack on the animals, which were reportedly carried in a black duffel bag.

Disturbing details of the case

Police say the boy they are looking for is around 5ft6 with short dark hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark long-sleeved jacket and blue jeans, and was seen carrying the black duffel bag that is believed to have contained the kittens.

The girl, also described as around 5ft6, has long red hair. She was wearing a white top with black shorts and was carrying a purple jumper, which she was later seen wearing.

Community shaken

Sergeant Babs Rock said: “This is an incredibly distressing incident which I know has caused concern in the local community. We are urgently trying to identify the individuals involved so we can understand exactly what happened.”

No arrests have been made, and police say the investigation remains a priority.

Appeal for information

Officers are urging anyone who recognises the pair to come forward immediately. “If you know these two individuals, please come forward to us. We would like to speak with them as soon as possible,” said Sgt Rock.

The attack has left residents shocked, with animal welfare groups also calling for swift justice in what’s being described as one of the most disturbing cases of cruelty seen in the capital in recent years.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Metropolitan Police on 101 or via their website, quoting the date of the incident.
