West Yorkshire Police have launched an urgent appeal to locate Davey McDonagh in connection with a serious assault that occurred in Halifax town centre on Friday.
The public is being strongly advised not to approach McDonagh if seen, but to instead call 999 immediately. Officers have issued a photograph of the suspect and confirmed he has known links to Halifax, Leeds and Bradford, though he may have travelled beyond the West Yorkshire region.
A police spokesperson said: “We are actively seeking Davey McDonagh in connection with a serious assault in Halifax. He is believed to have access to multiple locations across the region, and we are asking the public to be vigilant. If you sight the male, do not approach. Please contact 999 quoting crime reference number 13250260762.”

West Yorkshire Police continue to investigate the incident and are asking for anyone with relevant CCTV, dashcam footage or information about McDonagh’s whereabouts to come forward immediately.
